Self adhesive rubber pads can support an enclosure while leaving room beneath its base. The silicone feet should be placed around the enclosure's service features, so a support does not cover a screw, vent, or removable panel that needs later access. This makes the support layout part of the product design rather than an addition chosen only after the housing is complete.
Check the loaded height against the clearance needed below the equipment. Choose flat bonding areas that remain on the main base when service covers are removed. The supporting footprint should also suit the way weight is distributed inside the enclosure.
Apply the pads to properly prepared surfaces using the selected adhesive conditions. Confirm the product rests on the intended supports without rocking or touching the bench elsewhere. During servicing, protect installed feet from solvents or tools that could disturb the bond. If a pad must be removed for access, restore the intended support with a correctly fitted replacement rather than assuming the lifted adhesive will perform as it did originally.
