Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
A silicone rubber hole cap closes an opening with a fitted plug body. Where the surrounding wall is shallow, the retaining region must engage that limited depth correctly. An apparently flush head does not establish that the lower part is seated as intended. Size, material and color can be customized for the opening.
Measure the local wall and inspect the space immediately behind it. A plug that extends farther than expected may touch another component, while an unsuitable retaining form may fail to hold the thin edge. Fit the selected plug without cutting away features to clear an obstruction. If the application requires water exclusion, assess the actual closure and housing together after installation. During service, check whether the plug has shifted or developed a folded edge at the hole. Remove it by the intended accessible area rather than driving it deeper with a tool. A damaged retaining section should be replaced so the closure remains supported by its designed interface.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Where the surrounding wall is shallow, the retaining region must engage that limited depth correctly. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
