A rubber damper for equipment engine mounting creates a compliant element between connected structures. Its geometry must suit the engine's support arrangement and the movement that occurs during operation. A matching bolt location does not by itself establish that a replacement will provide the required support or clearance.
Consider the resting position alongside movement during starting, running and stopping. Nearby exhaust components, guards and connected lines must remain clear as the supported assembly moves. The selected rubber formulation also needs to suit the temperature and contamination at the particular mounting point.
