Product Overview

A rubber damper for equipment engine mounting creates a compliant element between connected structures. Its geometry must suit the engine's support arrangement and the movement that occurs during operation. A matching bolt location does not by itself establish that a replacement will provide the required support or clearance.

Consider the resting position alongside movement during starting, running and stopping. Nearby exhaust components, guards and connected lines must remain clear as the supported assembly moves. The selected rubber formulation also needs to suit the temperature and contamination at the particular mounting point.

The part should be evaluated within the intended engine installation rather than treated as a universal mount. Its name does not establish a hydraulic damping mechanism or a rated reduction in vibration. During maintenance, inspect both the rubber and fastening areas for a changed position, cracking or separation. If the engine has shifted relative to surrounding components, identify the cause before using a different mount height to restore visible clearance.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. Its geometry must suit the engine's support arrangement and the movement that occurs during operation.
Custom geometry
If the engine has shifted relative to surrounding components, identify the cause before using a different mount height to restore visible clearance.
Fit evaluation
Nearby exhaust components, guards and connected lines must remain clear as the supported assembly moves.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; part identification clear of mounting seats and loaded faces.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
