A remote pad button with a conductive carbon pill needs its contact area positioned over the intended circuit pattern. The silicone or rubber body provides the movement and return within the housing, while the carbon pill forms part of the electrical contact arrangement.
Develop the button geometry around the actual board, enclosure opening and stack height. Check that the contact approaches as intended when the key is pressed from normal finger positions. A button that tilts or rubs against the housing may not present the same contact as a freely moving centered sample.
Evaluate activation and release in the complete remote. The carbon pill construction does not by itself define contact resistance or switching life. During assembly and service, keep the contact surface free of residue and avoid abrasive handling that can damage it. If response becomes inconsistent, inspect alignment, wear and cleanliness before changing the visible button profile. Replacements should preserve the designated carbon contact and underside geometry as well as the key's external appearance.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
