A solid stopper with pull ring combines a molded closure body with an accessible handling feature. The body fits the receiving opening, while the ring gives a defined place to remove the stopper. The custom geometry should allow both features to work without overstressing the rubber.
Check the seating diameter, insertion depth, and clearance around the ring. The stopper should not be driven so far into the opening that the ring becomes trapped beneath surrounding parts. The receiving edge also needs to be smooth enough to avoid cutting the body as it is fitted or withdrawn.
Select the compound for the actual medium and temperature. Install the stopper cleanly within its intended range and inspect the body for even seating. Use the ring in the direction appropriate to the design rather than pulling sharply sideways against an obstruction. Before reuse, examine both the sealing surface and the connection between the ring and body. Replace a torn or permanently deformed part rather than continuing to load a damaged removal feature.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The body fits the receiving opening, while the ring gives a defined place to remove the stopper. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
