A silicone rubber sealing cover for a small USB opening should protect the unused port while allowing normal connector access when removed. The cover geometry needs to follow the surrounding enclosure as well as the socket position. Its insertion depth must not bring rubber into unintended contact with delicate internal connector features.
Custom structure, dimensions, hardness and color options allow the cover to match the product housing. Check the space needed to grasp and remove it, particularly where the port is recessed or placed beside another connector. Once open, the cover arrangement should leave room for the intended cable plug to seat fully.
Assess any sealing requirement on the complete device with the cover in its closed position. Keep the mating recess clear of lint and residue, and avoid forcing the cover into a port that contains debris. Repeated opening should be evaluated for the intended service life and handling method. If the cover begins to sit unevenly or requires increasing force, inspect its contact surfaces and the enclosure opening before continuing to press it into place.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
