Match the attachment and installation method
Silicone rubber small hole plugs can be developed for designated unused openings within a terminal-related assembly. The body should match the intended retaining and contact surfaces without interfering with nearby electrical components or the space needed for connected wiring.
Define the opening geometry and required insertion depth using the finished housing. Material, dimensions and color can be customized for that configuration. A sealing requirement must be evaluated with the complete terminal or enclosure design; the molded plug alone does not establish an electrical or ingress rating.
Fit each closure into its assigned location and inspect its seating before surrounding access is restricted. Do not force a plug into an active contact position merely because it appears to fit the opening. During service, keep removed closures separate from other small parts and check their retained edges for damage. If the terminal configuration changes, review the required closure arrangement rather than refitting every plug automatically into the altered assembly.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The body should match the intended retaining and contact surfaces without interfering with nearby electrical components or the space needed for connected wiring. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
