A rubber cable sleeve can extend protection beyond the panel opening to the point where a cable begins to bend. Its length and bore should follow the actual route, including nearby brackets or connectors. A silicone rubber tube used in this role needs an installed profile that avoids a sharp transition at its exit.
Custom material, dimensions, hardness and color can match the assembly. Define whether the part is a simple sleeve or includes a grommet seat in the panel. The retaining interface and cable passage should be developed separately where both are present.
Support the sleeve during cable insertion and inspect for inward folding afterward. Check the final position once nearby cable clips are secured. Wear should be assessed with the actual jacket and movement conditions, not inferred from the loose material. During maintenance, examine the cable just beyond the sleeve as well as the rubber. A concentrated bend or rubbing mark at the exit may indicate that routing support or sleeve length needs revision before a replacement is fitted.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A rubber cable sleeve can extend protection beyond the panel opening to the point where a cable begins to bend. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
