A protective micro USB cover closes a matching device opening when the connection is not being used. Its outer profile must fit the enclosure as well as the port location, so the receiving space should be defined from the complete device. Micro USB and other USB connector formats should not be treated as interchangeable.
Check insertion depth and surrounding clearance. The cover should reach its intended seat without bearing against electrical contacts or obstructing a neighboring control. If the design includes a retention feature, that feature also needs room to move when the port is accessed.
The cover can provide physical coverage of the opening, but a waterproof rating depends on the complete enclosure and fit. Keep the cover's inner surface free of grit before refitting it. Remove it through the intended grip area rather than using a sharp object inside the port. Replace a torn or loose cover when it no longer remains seated, and inspect for debris before reconnecting a cable to the exposed opening.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
