Product Overview

Square rubber end caps cover square pipe ends and give each exposed opening a flexible finish. For this shape, the corner geometry matters alongside the width across the flats. A cap can fit the straight sides closely yet stretch excessively at corners that are sharper than its internal profile.

Measure the pipe as a finished component, including coatings and any edge preparation. Establish the intended engagement depth so the cap has enough contact to stay positioned without bottoming against an internal obstruction. Clean away swarf before fitting; trapped fragments can cut the rubber from inside.

The cap can be customized in size, color and hardness, with silicone and other rubber material options. A molded logo is also possible where identification is useful. Choose the compound for the actual exposure rather than applying one temperature or chemical-resistance assumption to all the listed materials.

Push the cap on evenly, alternating pressure across opposing sides if needed. Avoid hammering one corner into place. Once installed, inspect the mouth for stretching and check that the end face sits square to the pipe. If the cap is removed repeatedly, examine the corners and rim before reuse, since those areas carry much of the fitting strain.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation; select the compound alongside the mating geometry.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; solid rubber: 30–90 Shore A. A cap can fit the straight sides closely yet stretch excessively at corners that are sharper than its internal profile.
Custom geometry
For this shape, the corner geometry matters alongside the width across the flats.
Fit evaluation
Once installed, inspect the mouth for stretching and check that the end face sits square to the pipe.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM identification positioned outside closure contact surfaces.

Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A square-pipe cap needs an internal corner profile that suits the pipe as well as the width across its flat sides. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
