Product Overview

A strong suction cup requires suitable contact between its lip and the target surface. If the edge cannot seat because of texture, curvature or contamination, a larger cup is not automatically a better solution. The contact geometry and complete vacuum arrangement should be evaluated together.

Develop the rubber or silicone profile around the surface area available and the intended mounting. Include the approach direction and any movement that can peel one side of the lip away. Custom dimensions and materials can support that development, but a descriptive strength term does not define a load rating.

Inspect the lip before fitting and keep the contact surface clean through a compatible method. Evaluate the assembly in its actual orientation and operating cycle rather than relying only on a brief stationary hold. During servicing, check for cuts and deposits around the perimeter. If contact fails consistently at one location, identify the local surface or alignment issue before changing the cup diameter or material in isolation.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation; select the compound alongside the mating geometry.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; solid rubber: 30–90 Shore A. The contact geometry and complete vacuum arrangement should be evaluated together.

Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
