Silicone single buttons provide a flexible operating surface for a control that does not need a complete multi-key sheet. The molded component can be shaped to fit the surrounding panel and the switch beneath it, with color and dimensions adapted to the product. This arrangement suits an isolated power, mode, or function control where a small interface occupies only part of the enclosure.
For a design intended to limit water entry, pay attention to the stationary edge of the button as well as its moving center. The edge needs continuous support and appropriate compression from the mating housing. Too little restraint can leave a gap; excessive clamping can interfere with the intended movement. Water resistance depends on the finished enclosure and assembly rather than the button material alone.
Check the press at the center and near the edges after fitting the housing. The button should return freely without rubbing against its opening. Keep the contact area underneath clean during assembly, and inspect any displaced perimeter before closing the product.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
