A compact rubber vibration damper is useful where the design needs a flexible contact or mounting element within a restricted space. Its custom geometry can establish the separation between adjoining parts while allowing the rubber to deform at the intended interface. The relevant dimensions are therefore the installed height and seating details as well as the overall size.
Start with the gap the assembly needs to maintain. A small change in rubber thickness can affect the position of a cover, bracket, or supported component. Excess compression may consume the available clearance before the equipment begins operating. Too little engagement can allow the part to move at its mounting point. Fit should be reviewed with the assembly secured in its ordinary working condition.
The compound is chosen for the location and the type of contact. Color options can help identify different versions during assembly, although color itself does not define a performance grade. Replace a damaged damper with the correct geometry rather than cutting a larger piece to fit, since the altered edges and seating area can change its behavior.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The relevant dimensions are therefore the installed height and seating details as well as the overall size. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
