Product Overview

A custom rubber metal anti vibration component should connect its rigid mounting features through the intended rubber section. Nearby washers, brackets or fasteners must not create an unintended rigid contact that bypasses the compliant interface. The complete attachment arrangement determines how the supported assembly can move.

Material, dimensions, hardness and color can be developed for the application. Define the load direction, working height and available clearances, then coordinate the metal features with the rubber profile. The installation method should secure the part without twisting or crushing it beyond the designed position.

Evaluate representative operation with the actual supported equipment and all normal connections. Check for contact between rigid features at the movement extremes. Vibration behavior should be assessed at that system level rather than assigned from the component's material description.

During inspection, look for polished contact marks on nearby metal and for permanent deformation in the rubber. Either may indicate that the intended working space has been consumed. When replacing the part, preserve the developed attachment configuration and review any changes to surrounding hardware that could restrict the compliant movement.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. Check for contact between rigid features at the movement extremes.
Custom geometry
Material, dimensions, hardness and color can be developed for the application.
Fit evaluation
Evaluate representative operation with the actual supported equipment and all normal connections.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings clear of the working interface.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
