Rubber mounting feet create a compliant interface beneath equipment, but the support should be assessed while the device starts and stops as well as while it rests. Those transitions can reveal rocking or sideways movement that a static fit check does not show. The required response depends on the equipment and its mounting layout.
Match the foot dimensions and attachment to the planned support points. The rubber needs room for its intended deformation without meeting a sharp enclosure edge or allowing the base to strike the supporting surface. Tightening and spacer geometry should follow the mounting design so the assembled compression remains controlled.
An anti-vibration application requires evaluation of the complete device; a generic rubber foot does not establish a particular reduction in noise or movement. Keep other connections, such as hoses and cables, from imposing unplanned sideways forces. During maintenance, look for changed clearance or a foot leaning from its original position. These visible changes can indicate that the support arrangement needs attention before the rubber develops an obvious split.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Tightening and spacer geometry should follow the mounting design so the assembled compression remains controlled. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
