Rubber mounting feet with metal spacer features combine a compliant support surface with a rigid element in the fastening area. The spacer can define part of the assembled relationship between the screw, mounting surface and rubber, depending on its length and how the surrounding hardware contacts it. Its presence should be considered when setting the final clamping arrangement.
Compare spacer length with the rubber section through which the fastener passes. If the mating parts bear on the spacer, that geometry influences how much the rubber is compressed. A different screw or washer can change the load path, so substitutions need more than a matching thread diameter.
Check that the foot rests evenly against the equipment base and does not twist during tightening. Do not assume the metal insert establishes a particular load capacity or vibration reduction. Those depend on the complete installation. During service, inspect the rubber around the spacer for separation, tearing or distortion, and check whether a loose fastener has allowed movement at the mounting hole.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
