A hemispherical rubber mount presents a rounded outer contact surface rather than a flat pad. Buna-N is identified for this industrial foot version, with dimensions customized around the assembly. The dome shape influences where contact begins and how the working area changes as the rubber is loaded.
The mating surface should meet the intended region of the dome. Contact close to one side may push the mount differently from a centered approach. Consider the mounting seat and the direction of loading together, particularly where the component can move sideways. The surrounding hardware needs to leave the working surface exposed without cutting into the rubber as it deforms.
For a support application, assess the installed height under the actual equipment rather than using the unloaded dome height as the final stand-off. If several feet are used, inspect their contact together so that the equipment remains stable. The rounded shape does not automatically compensate for an uneven base or an unsuitable mounting pattern.
Select the compound for the local environment and keep abrasive particles away from the contact surface. Uneven flattening or wear can indicate off-center loading. Inspect the seat and adjoining component when replacing the mount, preserving the intended dome geometry rather than substituting a flat part solely because it has a similar diameter.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
