Product Overview

A rubber wire sleeve covers a length of wiring rather than only the edge of a panel opening. This silicone dust tube can be customized in material, dimensions, hardness and color. The two end locations should be established from the installed cable route so the sleeve covers the intended region without crowding a connector or folding into a tight bend.

Hardness options from 25 to 85 Shore A are available within the custom range. Choose the formulation and wall geometry together, considering how the sleeve is installed and how the cable moves during service. A more compliant tube may follow the route easily but still needs sufficient support to remain located.

Check the cable span with adjacent parts in position. The sleeve should not shift until an exposed jacket section reaches a rubbing point, and its ends should not become hard transitions where the cable repeatedly bends. If dust exclusion is required, evaluate the ends and any mounting interfaces as part of the complete arrangement.

During inspection, look inside accessible ends for trapped particles and check the outer surface for localized wear. Keep the sleeve supported while threading wiring through it so it does not turn inward. A route change during final assembly should be followed by another check of coverage and end position.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. The two end locations should be established from the installed cable route so the sleeve covers the intended region without crowding a connector or folding into a tight bend.
Custom geometry

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
