Match the attachment and installation method
Custom molded rubber seal caps should follow the complete mating profile, including any depth change beneath the visible rim. A head that covers the opening neatly can still conceal a retained body that is too long, too short or stopped by an internal feature.
Select the silicone or other rubber formulation for the operating exposure. Develop the body and grip around the actual assembly, and evaluate any water-sealing requirement with that finished interface. A waterproof description does not define a general pressure or ingress rating for every custom cap.
Trial the part in the designated opening and inspect its retained position as well as the visible perimeter. Do not push the head flat to compensate for an unsuitable body. During maintenance, compare the opening with the design dimensions before replacing a distorted cap. Correct residue or damage at the seat so the new component can occupy the position it was intended to reach rather than reproducing the previous uneven contact.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
