Match the attachment and installation method
A rubber silicone stopper with a specified dimension below 10 mm should be developed with a clear fitting and handling method. At this scale, the retained body, exposed head and available removal space need to be considered separately; a small visible size does not describe the full closure profile.
Define the exact dimension referenced by the design and compare the complete part with the finished opening. Select the formulation for the actual exposure, and use custom color or suitable identification to distinguish similar small versions where helpful.
Fit the stopper using a controlled method that avoids cutting the rubber or losing the part inside the assembly. Inspect the seat under suitable lighting before surrounding access is closed. During maintenance, keep removed closures separated from other small components and check their retaining edges before reuse. A nearly matching cap should not be forced into the opening simply because the dimensional difference is difficult to see without comparing the designated profiles.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. At this scale, the retained body, exposed head and available removal space need to be considered separately; a small visible size does not describe the full closure profile. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
