An electrical rubber entry component should be selected for the opening and wiring it serves in the industrial assembly. The molded profile, retained depth and usable passage establish the physical fit, while the selected EPDM or other formulation must suit the local operating exposure.
Use the actual mating geometry when developing or replacing the part. A catalog-style name does not identify a particular third-party replacement or establish electrical properties for the rubber. Compare the panel thickness and cable route alongside the opening dimensions.
Fit the grommet so the retained edges engage without folding and inspect again after the wiring is secured. Keep the cable within the protected passage and clear of an exposed cut edge. During servicing, examine both the rubber and the surrounding panel for changes in fit. A similar-looking spare should be matched by its designated material and profile before installation rather than chosen solely from a familiar description or approximate outside size.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The molded profile, retained depth and usable passage establish the physical fit, while the selected EPDM or other formulation must suit the local operating exposure. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
