Product Overview
A T shape molded rubber grommet combines a wider portion with a narrower body, allowing the profile to be developed around a stepped or shouldered mounting arrangement. The wider area can provide a defined locating face, while the body dimensions determine engagement within the opening. Both features need to suit the actual orientation of the part.
Check which surface is intended to act as the stop during installation. Pushing the grommet beyond that position can distort the shoulder or crowd the cable passage. Nearby hardware should leave space for the molded profile to sit flat rather than trapping only one side.
Silicone construction, custom dimensions and color options allow the shape to be adapted to the surrounding assembly. Evaluate the installed bore after the shoulder is seated, because compression at the outside can affect the internal opening. When removing a cable, support the grommet rather than pulling the entire T profile through the mounting hole. Inspection should focus on the junction between the wider shoulder and narrower body, where repeated displacement may leave visible damage.
