A cable wire protective ring separates wiring from a rigid opening, but its installed condition can change when the cable route is revised. Moving a nearby clip or adding a connector may pull the cable against a different part of the bore. The custom silicone ring should be checked after those changes rather than assumed to remain correctly positioned.
Define the ring's panel engagement and cable clearance for the intended route. The outside dimensions should fit the available space without interfering with adjacent hardware. Material selection should reflect the cable jacket and local exposure conditions.
After assembly, inspect the retaining area around the complete opening. Then move the cable through its permitted positioning range and check that the ring stays engaged. A newly introduced side load can lift a lip even though the cable remains visibly surrounded by rubber. During maintenance, examine both the ring and the jacket near its exit for fresh contact marks. Restore the planned support arrangement if the cable has shifted toward a rigid edge beyond the ring's coverage.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The outside dimensions should fit the available space without interfering with adjacent hardware. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
