Product Overview

A custom conductive single button can use multiple colors and molded logo details to identify its function within a panel. The visible design should remain coordinated with the conductive contact underneath, so the button's appearance and operating position refer to the same control.

ETOL offers custom sizes and hardness choices, with engraved or embossed markings available. Consider where those details meet the user's finger and whether they remain clear against the surrounding key color. A raised symbol should be evaluated on the finished button rather than only in artwork, especially where the operating area is small.

Develop the underside and enclosure clearance around the chosen electrical contact arrangement. Evaluate presses in the assembled panel, checking that the button moves without rubbing and returns after release. Conductivity alone does not establish a particular switching life or resistance value.

During manufacture and servicing, keep the contact area free of residue and avoid confusing visually similar buttons intended for different positions. Check both the markings and the contact configuration when replacing a part. A button that looks correct from above may still have a different underlying profile, so the complete selected design should remain consistent through replacement production.

Material options
Rubber. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Evaluate presses in the assembled panel, checking that the button moves without rubbing and returns after release.
Custom dimensions
The visible design should remain coordinated with the conductive contact underneath, so the button's appearance and operating position refer to the same control.
Fit & assembly
A raised symbol should be evaluated on the finished button rather than only in artwork, especially where the operating area is small.
Use & inspection
During manufacture and servicing, keep the contact area free of residue and avoid confusing visually similar buttons intended for different positions.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
