A molded sealing silicone hole plug supplied with a specified silicone-oil treatment should be evaluated in that intended surface condition. The treatment and elastomer formulation need to be compatible with the mating materials, contents and process in which the closure will be used.
ETOL can customize shape, dimensions, color and material construction. Define the inserted contact, retaining feature and exposed handling region before selecting the plug. The actual opening and service conditions should determine the profile rather than relying on easy insertion as evidence of a complete seal.
Use the prescribed treatment and assembly method for the chosen design. Do not add unplanned lubricant to compensate for a mismatched opening or damaged contact surface. Seat the plug squarely and inspect its perimeter, then evaluate the closure under the required operating conditions.
During servicing, follow the appropriate release procedure and inspect the contact region for contamination, cuts or a changed fit. Cleaning can alter a treated surface, so keep the permitted cleaning and reuse method consistent with the intended closure specification. Replace damaged rubber and review the mating seat before reassembly. If the process or contents change, reassess the compound and treatment together rather than carrying the previous selection into a different exposure unchanged.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
