Product Overview

A rubber bottle stopper for a threaded hole must match more than the opening's apparent diameter. Thread spacing, engagement length and the surface that establishes the final seat all affect the closure. Custom size and material options allow the stopper to be developed for the intended bottle neck and contents.

Check the first turn carefully. A small rubber part can deform while being twisted, making an incorrect start less obvious than it would be with a rigid closure. Keep the stopper aligned with the neck and make sure it advances without tipping. The gripping portion should remain clear of the bottle shoulder when the closure reaches its intended position.

For use and cleaning, pay attention to residue within the thread path. Remove it before closing the bottle again, using a method compatible with the rubber and bottle material. Examine both the threaded portion and the final contact surface for damage. If the stopper no longer seats consistently, compare its shape with the mating neck before applying additional force or returning it to service.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. Thread spacing, engagement length and the surface that establishes the final seat all affect the closure.

Fit evaluation

Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM identification positioned outside closure contact surfaces.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
