A black oval SBR rubber stopper is shaped for a noncircular closure interface. The long axis, short axis and end contours all contribute to fit, so a single width is insufficient for selecting a replacement. Custom molding allows the body to follow the opening while leaving an exterior surface suitable for fitting and removal.
For an application involving oil, select the compound by compatibility with the actual fluid and operating temperature. Do not treat the oval shape, black color or SBR designation as proof of suitability for every oil. The material and finished closure need to be evaluated under the conditions in which they will be used.
Align the stopper with the opening before pressing it home. The rounded ends should seat without folding, and the longer sides should not bow away from the mating surface. Look around the entire perimeter after installation. During maintenance, inspect for swelling, softened regions or a changed shape, and address those changes before refitting the closure. Keep oil residue from masking damage at the contact edge.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
