A special-shaped silicone cable grommet should follow the intended panel opening in a defined orientation. Its locating features and cable passage may not be symmetrical, so establish which side and direction belong in the assembly before applying insertion force.
ETOL offers custom outlines, materials, dimensions, colors and molded or printed identification. Compare the complete retained perimeter, including narrow regions and changes in direction. A part can appear close to fitting even when reversed if only its broad outside contour is considered.
Seat the grommet progressively and watch how each feature enters its corresponding region. Thread the cable without twisting the part to reach the desired route afterward. Once supports are secured, inspect the areas near corners or narrow bridges for concentrated deformation. During service, maintain the required orientation and keep the retaining groove clear of debris. If the opening or cable arrangement changes, reassess the full custom profile rather than stretching one section to accommodate the revision. Replace damaged rubber instead of concealing a torn locating feature beneath the panel.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If the opening or cable arrangement changes, reassess the full custom profile rather than stretching one section to accommodate the revision. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
