Custom silicone rubber panel water plugs should be seated against the actual opening with sufficient clearance behind the closed face. A hidden bracket, wire or internal edge can distort the plug even when the visible perimeter appears close to the panel.
ETOL can adapt the size, material, hardness and color. Define the retained profile and the operating exposure together, then evaluate the required moisture-exclusion function in the finished assembly. Keep the inserted section from bottoming on another component before the locating feature has engaged.
Inspect behind the opening while access is available. Seat the plug evenly and recheck it after nearby hardware is fitted. If the face bulges or the rim lifts, investigate the obstruction rather than pressing harder through the center. During maintenance, remove deposits before releasing the plug and examine the hidden surface for contact marks. Correct the cause of a repeated mark before fitting a replacement, and leave the intended handling area accessible so removal does not require a sharp tool to puncture the rubber.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
