Protective chair leg caps cover compatible supports with fitted rubber feet. The internal seat and base thickness determine the chair's effective contact height, making them important details when replacing a missing or worn cap. Custom size and compound options allow the part to follow the original leg design.
Compare the bare leg with the intended receiving cavity, including any taper or corner radius. A cap stopped short by a mismatch can make the chair sit unevenly. The rubber should not be left partly installed as a way to adjust the stance.
After fitting, set the chair on its normal floor and check all supports together. Keep the bases clean and inspect the newly fitted rim for curling when the chair is repositioned. Match the selected compound to the floor finish and cleaning routine. During maintenance, look inside the cap for concentrated wear from the leg end. A replacement should restore the correct seat depth and base height rather than simply conceal the exposed metal or plastic with a similarly colored cover.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
