A screw rubber foot attaches a resilient contact to a compatible equipment base. Custom molded dimensions should coordinate the rubber body, screw interface and supporting surface. The fastener locates the foot, while the exposed rubber provides the contact beneath or beside the equipment.
Check screw engagement and the space for any head or washer before assembly. Hardware should not project into the working contact face or compress the rubber in a way that shifts it out of position. Select the tightening conditions for the complete foot and mounting arrangement rather than applying force until the body is visibly flattened.
Evaluate the fitted foot under the equipment's normal load. Compare multiple supports for consistent contact and leave clearance for any intended deformation. If the assembly is used as a bumper rather than a resting foot, check the direction in which the mating part reaches its face.
During inspection, look for loose hardware, uneven bulging and wear exposing a rigid part. Keep grit away from the rubber contact. When replacing the foot, match the screw interface as well as the outside body so the equipment retains its original height and mounting relationship. Reassess the supports if additional equipment changes the weight distribution across the base.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Custom molded dimensions should coordinate the rubber body, screw interface and supporting surface. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
