A threaded rubber foot provides a replaceable contact point beneath an electronic enclosure, separating the housing from the supporting surface. This custom version is associated with M3 and M4 mounting arrangements and a hole feature. The fastener arrangement should be defined together with the foot geometry, since thread size alone does not determine how the rubber is retained.
For a compact housing, consider available screw engagement, internal clearance and the position of nearby components. A screw that projects too far inside the case can interfere with the assembly even when the foot sits correctly outside. The bearing area around the hole should support the fastening method without allowing tightening to crush the rubber excessively.
Foot height also affects enclosure ventilation clearance and access to lower connectors. Check the complete set on a level surface after fastening; uneven compression can leave a small case rocking. During maintenance, inspect around the mounting hole for splitting and check that the attachment remains secure. Custom dimensions and compound selection allow the foot to be developed around the actual enclosure base.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The fastener arrangement should be defined together with the foot geometry, since thread size alone does not determine how the rubber is retained. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
