Match the attachment and installation method
This silicone wire grommet is offered as a 6 mm nominal version for electronic-equipment wiring. Match that size reference to the complete bore and mounting profile before selecting the part. A small passage still needs the correct panel engagement and clearance around its flange.
Measure the finished opening and wire jacket at the crossing. The retaining region should sit on a smooth boundary, while the wire should pass without stretching the center excessively. Plan the assembly order if its terminal is wider than the available passage.
During fitting, use handling that does not nick the small inner edge. Inspect the grommet under good lighting after routing and make sure it has not followed the wire into the hole. Keep the lead supported so an internal connection does not tug the rubber sideways. Choose the formulation for the equipment conditions and any applicable electrical requirements. When replacing the component, preserve the full dimensions rather than assuming every part carrying the same nominal size has an equivalent groove, flange and cable fit.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A small passage still needs the correct panel engagement and clearance around its flange. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
