Product Overview
A square cable grommet can provide a custom interface that tidies a wire route through a matching cutout. The retaining profile should follow the panel thickness and corner geometry, while the passage accommodates the finished cable or bundle. The square outside shape needs more definition than a single width measurement.
Check the opening corners and the space behind the panel. A rear lip may remain folded where a nearby rib restricts access. The wire route should also leave enough room to turn without pulling the grommet sideways once it is seated.
Prepare the cutout and fit the retaining section around the complete perimeter. Route cables through the intended assembly sequence and use the supports required by the design. During maintenance, inspect the corners and passage for displacement after wiring changes. Replace with the matching square profile and internal opening rather than enlarging a different grommet or forcing an additional bundle through a passage that no longer suits the route.
