Product Overview

A high temperature silicone gasket in a square form provides a compliant boundary between matching surfaces. The shape and compound should be chosen for the joint geometry and its actual temperature conditions. Custom dimensions allow the outer edge, inner opening and thickness to follow the available sealing land.

Square corners deserve separate attention from straight sections. The corner radius needs support from the mating face, and the gasket should not be stretched diagonally to reach its position. A corner caught outside the land can deform differently when the joint is compressed.

Consider how the assembly heats and cools in service. Select the silicone formulation for the temperature at the gasket and the length of exposure, together with any media contacting it. Evaluate the seal with the intended fastening and compression rather than relying on the loose material's appearance.

Place the gasket flat and bring the joint together without shifting a side inward. Inspect accessible corners after fastening. During later removal, examine the compression pattern around the square perimeter for uneven loading. Preserve the corner geometry and selected section when replacing it. If the mating parts change, review the gasket fit again so the high-temperature requirement and the mechanical support remain coordinated.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. A corner caught outside the land can deform differently when the joint is compressed.
Custom dimensions
Custom dimensions allow the outer edge, inner opening and thickness to follow the available sealing land.
Fit & assembly

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
