Rubber end plugs for pipes need a compound and fitted geometry suited to the actual thermal exposure. Consider how the plug contacts the pipe as well as the surrounding environment, since direct contact can determine the conditions at its inserted surface.
ETOL offers custom sizes, materials, hardness and colors. Define the operating temperature range and exposure duration for the selected compound, along with any medium contacting the closure. Fit and material should be evaluated together in the complete pipe arrangement.
Install the plug according to the system's prescribed procedure and keep the seat free of damage. Check that the closure reaches its intended position without excessive stretch or an unsupported edge. After service, inspect for a change in shape or seating before reuse. Follow the system's specified cool-down and release process before removal, and avoid pulling on a hot or loaded closure. If the contact region has hardened, cracked or distorted, review the operating conditions and replace the affected component with a properly matched part.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A custom heat-resistant rubber end pipe plug closes an opening in a location where the compound and fitted geometry need to suit the actual thermal exposure. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
