A clear silicone rubber pipe plug closes a mating opening with a flexible molded profile. For a closure used with a pipe end or vial-type neck, the contact dimensions should be defined around that particular opening rather than assuming the two interfaces share the same shape.
ETOL offers custom size, color and material choices. Select the inserted portion, any locating shoulder and the available removal area together. The closure should reach its intended position without its lower end encountering an obstruction before the contact region is engaged.
Keep the clear surface clean during handling so particles or molding damage can be inspected readily. Seat the plug squarely and check the perimeter rather than judging fit solely through the body. The compound and completed closure should be evaluated for the intended contents and exposure. When removing it, release the fitted region in a controlled way and avoid scraping the surface with sharp tools. Inspect for cuts or permanent changes in shape before reuse, particularly around the portion that repeatedly enters the opening.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
