Cable grommet strain relief combines a cushioned panel passage with a flexible transition for a handled lead. The custom rubber profile should suit how the cable is moved during ordinary connection, disconnection or repositioning. ETOL offers changes to structure, material, size, hardness and color.
Observe the direction in which users naturally pull or turn the cable. A route that looks straight when idle can bend sharply during connection to nearby equipment. Leave room for that movement and provide the intended cable retention so the panel entry does not carry every handling force.
Check the sleeve and cable together through the expected positions. The rubber should stay located while the cable follows its permitted bend, without a fold becoming trapped against the enclosure. After repeated handling, inspect the exit for local wear and the mounting region for movement. If the cable is rerouted to another connection, assess the changed angle rather than assuming the original fit still works. Replace damaged rubber after correcting the cause, so the new part is not subjected to the same concentrated contact.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The custom rubber profile should suit how the cable is moved during ordinary connection, disconnection or repositioning. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
