A cable protection coil sleeve grommet provides a custom rubber interface along a machine cable entry. Its profile should protect the intended contact region in both the normal operating route and the positions reached during service. A cable moved aside for access can load the sleeve differently from its usual secured position.
Check the route with the surrounding machine parts assembled, then review the movement needed to reach nearby components. Keep the sleeve from being pulled against a sharp bracket or used as the point around which a cable is tightly folded. Match the retaining area to its mounting feature and choose the bore for the finished cable. During maintenance, release the appropriate cable supports before moving the route and restore them afterward. Inspect the liner for new rubbing or a shifted lip before closing the machine. If service repeatedly requires a damaging bend, revise the access or sleeve arrangement rather than replacing the same worn rubber after each intervention.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A cable moved aside for access can load the sleeve differently from its usual secured position. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
