Product Overview

A furniture leg protector cover places a flexible layer around the end of a leg, helping keep the exposed furniture material away from the floor. The fit should follow the leg itself, including its corners, taper and any change in section near the bottom. A cover that grips only at its mouth may still move around the end beneath it.

ETOL can customize the size, rubber material, hardness and color, with branding available. Measure the area that will sit inside the cover rather than a wider section farther up the furniture. Check the insertion depth so the leg reaches its intended seat without stretching the closed end excessively. If a worn cover is being replaced, compare the bare leg as well as the old part, which may have changed shape during use.

Where the furniture stands on a finished surface, assess the chosen rubber against that actual finish before routine use. Contact behavior can differ between flooring materials and between a clean surface and one carrying dust or cleaning residue.

Fit the cover with the furniture supported and remove grit from inside before lowering the leg onto it. After positioning the furniture, check that the lip has not rolled under. Lift the furniture when relocating it; dragging can pull a correctly fitted cover sideways or collect debris against the floor.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: Check the insertion depth so the leg reaches its intended seat without stretching the closed end excessively.
Custom profile & fit
Measure the area that will sit inside the cover rather than a wider section farther up the furniture.
Assembly considerations
Fit the cover with the furniture supported and remove grit from inside before lowering the leg onto it.
Design check
If a worn cover is being replaced, compare the bare leg as well as the old part, which may have changed shape during use.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
