Screw-on rubber bumper feet keep the flexible contact face separate from their mechanical mounting interface. The insert provides the mechanical connection, while the rubber forms the contact surface. Selecting the part requires matching both the fastening interface and the space available for the bumper when it is mounted.
Establish the screw thread, engagement length and mounting surface before choosing the outer profile. A thread that appears to start correctly may still be unsuitable if its pitch or available engagement differs from the intended fitting. The bumper should seat without the screw bottoming in a blind hole first or leaving an unintended gap beneath the mounting face.
ETOL offers custom size and color, multiple rubber material choices and a listed hardness range from 30 to 90 Shore A. Select the rubber around the contact it will receive, including whether force arrives squarely or at an angle. The insert relationship needs to remain suitable as the bumper deforms.
Use the intended fastening method during installation. Avoid gripping the soft body so aggressively that it twists relative to the insert, and keep the contact surface clear of tool damage. After mounting, check that the rubber is aligned with the opposing part rather than relying on the screw to pull a misaligned bracket into place. During inspection, look for movement at the insert boundary as well as wear on the face. A loose insert or split surrounding rubber requires attention before further use.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A thread that appears to start correctly may still be unsuitable if its pitch or available engagement differs from the intended fitting. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
