A rubber cap with a foot base combines an end cover with a supporting contact surface. The cavity holds the component end, while the underside forms the surface that rests against the supporting area. Both need to be considered when the part is developed as a foot rather than only as a protective cover.
Match the internal profile to the part it fits over, then establish how that part loads the base. A narrow or unfinished end can press into the rubber locally even if the exterior looks broad and stable. The closed depth should leave the intended rubber between the end and the supporting surface. Custom dimensions, material and color are available.
Fit the cap without folding its mouth and set the assembly on a representative surface. Check for a tilted base or a cap that creeps off as the item is moved. Clean debris from underneath before repeated use. If a wear pattern becomes concentrated beneath one edge of the enclosed component, review the internal fit instead of selecting a thicker looking cover by appearance alone.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The closed depth should leave the intended rubber between the end and the supporting surface. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
