Silicone rubber feet for chair applications can take the form of caps that enclose the lower leg end. The rim should grip the leg while the base carries the floor contact. If the leg stops at the rim without reaching its intended seat, the cover may stretch downward during use and fail to support the chair as planned.
Check the cavity depth together with the leg's taper. A flared or angled end can need a different cap profile from a straight tube. The outside shape should also avoid catching on nearby crossbars or another chair when furniture is stacked or stored.
Push each cap into position without folding its rim, then inspect the chair as a complete set. Replace a loose fit with an appropriate size instead of relying on a rolled edge to tighten the opening. During cleaning, look underneath the caps for debris and wear. A smooth outer appearance can conceal a thinning base where the hard leg end repeatedly presses against the rubber.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
