An anti vibration rubber bumper can be customized for a contact point that needs a rubber interface. This product is also presented as a non-slip foot, so the intended function should determine its shape and mounting arrangement. A bumper reached occasionally by a moving part experiences a different contact pattern from a foot continuously supporting an item.
For a stop, establish the approach direction and the clearance remaining when the rubber is contacted. For a foot, consider the supported position, distribution of weight and surface beneath it. The same material hardness can behave differently in those two geometries. ETOL offers custom dimensions and color, with the listed hardness choices running from 30 to 90 Shore A.
Evaluate the part where it will actually work. Look for a bumper being struck on its edge or a foot that touches only on one side. Keep grit away from the mating surfaces, and correct a mounting issue before it produces uneven wear. Replace damaged rubber rather than using additional tightening to force a distorted part back into its original shape.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
