Product Overview

ID 8mm rubber grommets share an 8 mm inner opening, but the listed versions fit a range of panel holes and thicknesses. The common bore therefore identifies only one part of the geometry. These grommets provide a rubber boundary for wires, cables or hoses passing through the panel.

The table includes RG14-8-10-1, with a 14 mm outside diameter, 10 mm panel hole and 1 mm panel thickness. It also lists RG22-8-18-6, which has a 22 mm outside diameter, 18 mm panel hole and 6 mm panel thickness. Both have the same inner diameter, yet they cannot be exchanged without changing the mounting fit.

Intermediate options include 15, 18 and 20 mm outside diameters, with multiple groove widths. Select by the existing cutout and panel thickness before comparing the available flange coverage. Check overall thickness as well if a nearby cover or bracket limits space on either side.

ETOL offers customized structure, compound, hardness and color. The 8 mm bore is a geometric dimension, not a statement that every 8 mm cable will be suitable under every routing condition. Allow for the cable jacket, assembly clearance and any connector that must pass through.

Install the selected version in a clean opening and ensure its groove is engaged all around. After routing, inspect for an inner lip pulled sideways by the cable, particularly where the run changes direction immediately beyond the panel.
