Anti vibration pads with 3M adhesive need a specific adhesive system and rubber profile selected for the receiving assembly. The adhesive holds the pad in position, while the compliant section responds to the contact and loading defined by the design. A brand name alone does not establish bond suitability or vibration reduction.
Check the substrate, application requirements and operating exposure for the actual adhesive grade. The pad dimensions should provide the intended support without leaving an edge vulnerable to repeated peeling. The complete assembly needs evaluation under its working conditions, including the compression applied to the rubber.
Inspect placement after fitting through the selected adhesive's requirements. During maintenance, look for lifting, creep or a permanent change in pad thickness. A detached pad should not simply be covered with another layer, since that changes the original support geometry and bond interface. Restore the defined material and adhesive combination when replacing the component so the assembly retains its intended contact arrangement.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
