Small conductive silicone buttons need accurate location over their board contact areas. The compact size can leave little tolerance for a sheet that has shifted or stretched during fitting. A visible cap centered in the panel does not necessarily confirm that its underside contact reaches the intended region.
Coordinate the molded references with the board and enclosure. The stationary body should remain supported while the narrow flexible sections move without rubbing. Check finger access as well as contact position, especially where the outer controls sit close to a raised panel edge.
Evaluate the assembled interface with realistic presses rather than a test limited to the cap centers. Check release and unintended neighboring registration after normal fastening. Keep the conductive underside protected from dust and handling residue. If a key becomes intermittent after servicing, inspect its seating and free movement before assuming a circuit fault. Small mechanical changes can affect the contact even when the top face and its marking still appear undamaged.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A visible cap centered in the panel does not necessarily confirm that its underside contact reaches the intended region. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
