Match the attachment and installation method
A rubber vibration mount for an automotive assembly should match the bracket and support conditions of that specific location. Custom dimensions allow the resilient body to fit the available seat and clearance. It is a component within the mounting arrangement, with performance determined by the complete installation.
Compare the working position before and after the supported part is loaded. The mount should not be forced sideways to correct misaligned holes or a bent bracket. Nearby hoses, wiring, and metal edges need enough clearance for the expected movement, including conditions when the assembly starts or stops.
Material selection should reflect the actual exposure at that vehicle location, such as heat or contacting fluids. The black appearance of a rubber part does not identify its compound or establish interchangeability. Use the intended attachment features and avoid twisting the rubber while securing the hardware. Inspect an installed mount for separation, cracking, or displaced seating, and check the surrounding bracket if wear is concentrated on only one side of the body.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Custom dimensions allow the resilient body to fit the available seat and clearance. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
