Match the attachment and installation method
A rubber mount with screw inserted combines a mechanical attachment feature with a flexible support body. The screw establishes the connection to the mating hardware, while the rubber carries the intended resilient movement. Custom dimensions allow the thread arrangement, body size, and installed height to match the assembly.
Specify the thread engagement around the actual bracket thickness and receiving connection. A screw can bottom out before the mount is seated, or leave insufficient engagement if the arrangement is mismatched. The mounting faces should align before fastening so that the rubber does not begin service under an unintended twist.
Use the appropriate attachment surfaces to secure the connection, avoiding rotation of the flexible body as a substitute for controlling the hardware. Leave enough clearance for the expected motion and keep neighboring rigid parts from bridging the support.
The screw size alone does not define the mount's load or damping capability. Evaluate the complete arrangement with its actual force direction and operating cycle. Inspect the junction between the insert and rubber during maintenance, together with the surrounding seating area. Visible movement at that junction or unusual one-sided deformation calls for attention before continued operation.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A rubber mount with screw inserted combines a mechanical attachment feature with a flexible support body. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
