An adhesive backed rubber pad adds a compliant contact point where a moving component meets its stop. It can be positioned on the stationary face so that the closing part touches rubber before reaching the harder surface behind it. The custom footprint and thickness allow the bumper to fit within the available contact area.
Locate the pad by observing where the two parts actually meet. A bumper positioned beside that point may provide little cushioning, while an overly thick pad can hold the assembly open or interfere with its latch. The contact should land near the middle of the pad rather than repeatedly striking an exposed edge.
The adhesive works best when its entire face lies against the mounting surface. Remove loose contamination, let the surface dry, and avoid touching the bond area during fitting. Check the chosen adhesive against the finish being used, particularly on coated or textured substrates. If the pad shifts, hardens, or loses its original profile, inspect both the bumper and the alignment of the closing parts.

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
